For those moments when you want to eat something quick on the go, want something to enjoy outside on a blanket, or just need a break from cooking, getting take-out is always a great, convenient option. Oshkosh is home to several noteworthy restaurants that have found ways to pack up their menu so that you can eat it when and where you want. Here at Brayton B&B we’ve compiled a list of our favorite take-out restaurants in Oshkosh as well as our specific recommendations for what to get. Happy eating!

Pete’s Garage

Our favorite burger in Oshkosh is “The Gas Cap” at Pete’s Garage. This ⅓ lb burger is delicious and mouthwatering. Other options we love include all three types of chicken sandwiches, their prime rib sandwich, and a variety of amazing appetizers including mini corn dogs, cheese curds, fried shrimp, and mozzarella sticks.

Nikos’ Gyros

Nikos’ Gyros is an amazing spot that specializes in, you guessed it, gyros. They also have awesome pita sandwiches, philly cheese steaks, burgers, and salads. For a larger family, we recommend their family meal for $40 which has 2 lbs of gyro meat, tomato, onion, pita bread, and their special sauce.

Mama’s Noodle Bar

In our opinion, you literally can’t go wrong with anything on Mama’s Noodle Bar’s menu. It’s hands-down our favorite Asian restaurant in Wisconsin. It’s hard to pick just a few recommendations, but if we had to we would say go for the pho noodles, fried chicken, and pad thai. They also have plenty of delicious vegan and vegetarian options on the menu.

Thursday through Sunday: 12pm-8pm

 

Parnell’s Place

We love Parnell’s Place for a lot of reasons. They have amazing broasted chicken, great seafood, delicious sandwiches, and some of the tastiest prime rib in town. Currently they are offering an excellent deal, “Bloody’s and Chicken Time” which includes an 8 piece tub of chicken, a tub of potatoes or french fries, and everything you need to make Bloody Mary’s for only $40.

Hot Dog Charlie’s

At Brayton B&B, our absolute favorite place to get a hot dog is Hot Dog Charlie’s. Everything on their menu is amazing, but we highly recommend their bacon sauce cheese dog, chili sauce cheese dog, or polish sausage. Pair your dog with some tater tots, fries, or cheese curds and you will be a very happy camper!
